  2. That's harrowing...like a deleted scene from Day Of The Locust.
    The accompanying newsreel soundtrack should be "We're in the money, we're in the money-We gotta lot of what it takes to get along!"
    Leave it to you, Felix, to single out such a singular image, one that pretty much sums how it was back then for many, and how it is right now for many others!

  4. Of course, their Depression featured films like "The Champ," "Grand Hotel," "I Am A Fugitive From A Chain Gang" and "Scarface." Our Depression will feature the likes of "The Change-Up."

    Which leaves me depressed.
