Bit of trivia on the 1965-66 Chrysler's: Their dashboards were the largest and longest casting's ever made for a US car to that point history. Bigger than the 1959 Cadillac. I would LOVE that car, BTW.
Since convertibles were sometimes second or even third cars, it is possible that the odometer reading was correct. However, some odometers go back to zero after a point.

Also, of course there's no way to know if it's true or not but, the odometer was reading 42,000 miles!
