Always liked Sheridan-she was especially great as a sexy vixen in "The Man Who Came To Dinner"! Poor Bette didn't have a chance of stealing the film from her in that one!

Way!!! It's a Nancy Drew-style mystery, with the "authorized appearance of Warner Bros./First National movie star, Ann Sheridan" as the main character. The mystery itself is fairly dreadful, but it's such a fun period piece! I believe that there were at least two or three similar books starring Bonita Granville - who, of course, had also actually portrayed Nancy Drew in a series of B films. Off on a tangent - I hated the Nancy Drew films, even though I love Bonita Granville - the plots and the characters had little or nothing to do with the books or characters as written by "Carolyn Keene."

She makes it look all so simple.

Incidentally does Oomph come in a can or a jar? Do you spray it on or slather?

Sometimes, my oomph only dribbles.
