Tick Tock Sweetie.

Thanksgiving night of 1985 was the night I found out that Cyndi was a whole lot more than just some girl who wanted to have fun!

i have this on VHS. it's been forever since i looked at it. gee, patti backed her up beautifully. wasn't poor luther on that special too?

This is the first time I really knew Cindy had the chops. Singin with the Patti. YUM!

Luther handled his appearance with flying colors -- the poor one was our little Christian friend Amy Grant. Even though they were dueting on one of Grant's very own songs, Amy was completely lost, deer in the headlights, as Patti overpowered her -- just being Patti!

I've seen that Amy Grant/Patti/Cyndi trainwreck and remember thinking "Were they just passing through the same airport at the same time and got sucked into this sort of randomly?"

Random sucking at the airport...

A Peenee specialty.

I am not that familiar with any of the 'back story' on all this---But I think Cyndi Lauper is GREAT GREAT GREAT! And I love this song, though it sounded rather botched up in that Video...Thanks for coming by Felix.
I have a lot of trouble reading text against black unless it is bug and bold...so I was glad to see a video...lol!

Dearest OOLOTH-
I'm so glad you came by, I've admired your blog for a long time and finally had the nerve to leave a comment. I'm sorry that the design of the blog makes it difficult for you to see. But I hope you'll come back as I do post a fair amount of video clips and photos.

Thank you again.
