To satisfy the British censors, re-shoots were ordered for the bedroom scenes on 1947's "My Awful Wife", but not before the cast and crew sought to have a little fun and make a statement.
Yup. My Favorite Husband was Lucy's radio show on CBS at the time and it was a big hit. My guess it that the brain trust from Columbia Pictures decided on this title to catch a little fire off the radio show. Clever boys.
