Big Mistakes In Motion Picture History....

Without question both of those outfits are hideous mistakes. it could only be worse if they switched outfits.

Is it really a mistake? Here's why: If the fabric wasn't beautifully drapped over the rail in a luxurious fashion, it would be hanging in a thick clumpy limp point.

Remember, they are selling something here and it is beauty and sumputousness glamour. You don't get that and limpness in the same shot.

So I think this was perfectly posed, with the excection of the bottom of the swag, which should have been tucked into the drape, rather than left ratta rat rat in a point.

Ladies, I was referring to the writing, acting and directing of the sketch the were appearing in.

Oh, you think so? Now the version with Marie Dressler and Al Jolson, that was a mistake.
