Funny you mention autographs...for a time in the 1940s, people mixed up Betty Grable and Lana Turner, who apparently were friends in real life. So as not to disappoint people, they agreed to sign each other's autographs when they were erroneously identified. So, for all we know, that may be the robot Lana Turner.
